The Warwickshire Observatory has recently produced the quarterly update of the Labour Market summary for the Coventry and Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership. This gives the latest data on Job Seekers Allowance (JSA) claimants, vacancies and worklessness data as well as highlighting a few key messages emerging from the data. The report shows that the number of JSA claimants fell slightly in September after rising to just over 20,000 in August. The number of short term claimants, i.e. less than 6 months, fell whereas the number of longer term claimants rose.
