Mosaic 2010 lands in the Observatory!

We now have the new version of Mosaic held in the Observatory. Experian have produced a brand new set of Groups and Types and this should be regarded as a brand new classification rather than an update to the existing version. We now have 15 Groups and 69 Types (rather than 11 and 61). The range has been expanded to enable more detailed profiling of some of the larger groups such as older people and ‘suburbia’.

This new dataset will feature in any future analysis that the Observatory conducts with work on the horizon planned for customer insight and Warwickshire Fire and Rescue.

  1. We’ll also be using the new version of Mosaic to help inform an interesting piece of customer insight work on Free School Meal take-up across Warwickshire.
