Child Poverty Innovation Pilot – Evaluation

Back in December 2009, we described how we had worked with North Warwickshire Borough Council to help target pockets of child poverty across the borough.  These communities would then benefit from an outreach scheme (the Branching Out Bus) aimed at taking services and information out to relatively isolated rural areas, such as debt and benefits advice.  (see Reducing Child Poverty in North Warwickshire for a DfE Reportreminder).

The Department for Education has just released an evaluation report, assessing the impact of the scheme and others that featured in the pilot.  Use the link below to access the report (the North Warwickshire scheme is assessed on page 18).
