Unemployment in Warwickshire falls by over 500 claimants in one month

The Job Seekers’ Allowance (JSA) claimant count level in October 2010 was 8,822 in Warwickshire.  This represents a fall of 537 claimants or 5.7% from the previous month, representing a much larger fall than seen in previous months.

The rate at which the claimant count is falling has increased over the last month. In August and September, Warwickshire saw a fall of 11 and 26 claimants respectively; however, October saw a fall of 537 claimants bringing the total number of Warwickshire JSA claimants under 9,000 for the first time since December 2008.
