Quality of Life 2010 Key Message – Customer Satisfaction and Involvement

Residents’ satisfaction with their area as a place to live has risen again with a low level of crime being cited by residents as the most important factor contributing to this. They have told us that activities for teenagers is the factor that most needs improving in the County. Satisfaction with councils in the County is lower compared to the health service and the police. However, this is a typical result for a county council and Warwickshire’s result is slightly above the national average.

Participation in local decision making processes has fallen slightly since 2008 and it is notable that nearly ninety percent of those questioned had taken no part in local decision making in the last twelve months.
