Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) Profiles released

A new profile containing some key economic indicators for local authorities, using previously published data aggregated for LEPs, has been released by the Office for National Statistics.

The Local Enterprise Partnership Profiles aim to help Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs) use official statistics to better understand the economic, social and environmental picture for the local authority areas covered by LEPs.

Since the first LEPs were announced in October 2010, a number of new LEPs have subsequently been formed. The current LEP profiles reflect the 31 LEPs which were in existence as at 23 March 2011. Please note that on this date not all areas of England were covered by a LEP.
