Economic Impact Toolkit goes live

A new online toolkit, developed by the West Midlands Cultural Observatory, has just gone live.

The toolkit is designed to help people from across the UK to measure the impact of their cultural events and activities. In addition to economic impact, the Toolkit enables users to work out the equivalent monetary value (£) of volunteer contribution and the social effects generated by projects.

The toolkit is described as being “aimed at non-researchers and should take much of the stress out of the research process by doing many of the ‘sums’ for users. From recommended audience questionnaires, to project monitoring templates, the Toolkit aims to guide users through the impact research process from start to finish”.

The toolkit can be accessed here.  For more information, contact Lauren Amery (lauren.amery@artscouncil.org.uk).
