Coventry and Warwickshire Labour Market Summary

The Summary for the third quarter of 2011/12 has just been produced by the Warwickshire Observatory.  This gives the latest data on Job Seekers Allowance (JSA) claimants, vacancies and worklessness data as well as highlighting a few key messages emerging from the data.  The report shows that the number of job seeker allowance claimants has fallen for four months in a row and now stands at 18,347 and that the number of people claiming for between three months and one year fell whilst those claiming for less than three months and over one year rose.  The number of notified vacancies rose in October before falling back to 7,216 in December.
